PROTEST IN BOWEN UNIVERSITY OVER NEW RULES.

The incessant crisis between the Bowen University’s administration and the students has taken a new dimension as the university has decided to punish them by forcing them to sign an undertaking to wear school uniform and sandals if they still wish to continue with their education in the same university.

In the undertaking, the students are to accept really funny and humbling punishments, which include cutting of grass and wearing of school uniforms and sandals like in the days of their secondary schools.

In a related development, an inside source revealed that the university authorities incurred a lot of damages owing to the rate at which the students destroyed properties in the school environment during their riot....

RAG DAY IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS; YES/ NO?

Rag-day, as it fondly called and cherished in our tertiary institutions of learning, is a day set aside by the social planners and organizers of institutions which entails students dressing like mad personality in rags and roaming the street for the purpose of making money.
  
 Based on what was learned, rag-day was initiated by institution governors or president of student union in the sense that its purpose is to help children in need, particularly in the orphanage........
